A complete décor renovation was completed for a second house located in Gavá. The vitality and soul were restored to this house near the beach, which was previously characterized by aggressively straight lines, white walls, and cold spaces.
The new owners wanted to imbue the house with a sweet style that evoked the atmosphere of the neighboring sea and echoed the days of summer. They wanted a refreshing home with lots of light, cheerful details, and colors that enhanced the space.
The colors for the space were chosen meticulously, as were the lighting and the materials. Blue dominated throughout the house, but contrasting colors were subtly added to create balance. Everything from the rattan, the wood, the kilim rugs, and the lamps with organic shapes, to the artwork featuring animals, nature, and landscapes, was splashed with gray and yellow colors that evoked joy.
Above the headboard in the master suite there is a mural by the artist Joana Santamans. In turn, the children’s rooms were custom-made according to the needs of the owners. In the garden area the lighting and furniture were selected with care and attention.
