A luxury Gallery Store in the heart of Barcelona

03.08.2020

An old mechanical workshop with more than 40 years of history has been the enclave chosen by the Interior Design and Architecture studio –The Room Studio-, to open its second headquarters in Barcelona.

Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample in a building that dates back to 1928 and within what is known as Eix Design Barcelona, this new space was created with the aim of being able to offer a luxury service to our clients. It also allows us to have a space open to the public at street level for the exhibition of unique pieces of furniture and art, create actions related to the world of architecture, art and interior design and become a place of reference within from the city.

Our Gallery Store is distributed on two floors, the ground floor is dedicated to Art Gallery, exhibition of some collaborating brands and space for events. In constant transformation and adaptation, it constitutes a space to surprise. It has a gallery for the exhibition of different works of art and a selection of pieces of furniture and lighting as well as various elements of decoration. In turn, the upper floor, conceived as a more private and personal space, is intended for customer service and development of architectural and interior design projects, with work areas, an office and a meeting table. The communication between both surfaces is carried out through a central staircase located in the middle area of the premises and in front of the large 5-meter-high bookcase, which crosses the walkway on the upper floor which serves to communicate the two study areas: the meeting room and office area of one of the partners, and the technical area where the projects are developed.

True to our designs, from The Room Studio it was decided to wink at natural materials, from the entrance to the interior patio. Whitewashed walls, natural wood in pavements and ceilings, brick, iron and vegetation factory; they were fused to give a feeling of harmony and nature that is repeated throughout the entire space. It also stands out that it was decided to create a space with natural materials but that they could dialogue with the technological innovation that it establishes in all its projects and that is conceived as another of the Study’s strong points.

Espai París also incorporates the latest in home automation, lighting and technology in a warm environment with special attention to detail. The advanced home automation system allows you to control everything: from lighting to irrigation, security cameras, music, video intercom, air conditioning, sound channels, etc. Thus creating a showroom dedicated to this part that is fully installed but at the same time subtly hidden, without damaging the natural aspect of it that was wanted to represent and care for from the beginning.

You can come to visit our luxury exhibition from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We hope you liked this week’s post, enjoy the summer!
