The perfect home office
Given the current situation of confinement in which most of us find ourselves, in today’s post we would like to share some tips to create the perfect home office. Since we have been forced to move our jobs to our residences, we must create the best of spaces in order to have all the possible comforts that we would find in the office.
First, we will start by mentioning that the workplace must be a harmonious space where natural lighting is one of the main properties. Light is an essential element both to be able to work with more comfort and its influence on us emotionally. Keep in mind that if this point is not possible, we can choose to incorporate table or pendant lamps, as well as wall lamps and spotlights that will help us. Poor lighting can create health problems in the future, therefore, it is recommended that the area have good light so that we do not have to strain our eyes and do not affect us psychically.
This area should be located in a closed space where there is little traffic and noise, distractions should be avoided. It must be organized and it must have enough space to move and have everything necessary within reach. It is important not to be up all the time to dispose of the material. Depending on the work to be done, the needs of this room will be different: they must be according to the function to be developed. It is important to take into account when distributing the office the elements that our work requires.
It is essential to enjoy an area where you can breathe motivation and transmit positive energy, a place where people who are going to spend several hours find comfort and tranquility. It is recommended to use soft and calm colors and prints, since we will be working there for many hours. Earthy, neutral and timeless colors are what transmit and create the perfect balanced space.
As in the offices we include elements that give us the feeling of a homey space, despite being at home, we must give these spaces an emotional part. With this we mean that, in addition to being functional and practical, we must create a feeling of home and warmth with important or loving accessories. For example, we can place drawings of our children or photos of our family or friends.
A fundamental point is to have the ideal and comfortable furniture to work. The basic pieces for our office are: a wide and large table, if you have storage space it will be an extra; and a comfortable chair that adapts to our ergonomics. These two elements are essential to carry out our functions without discomfort or inconvenience. We find a wide variety of designs and shapes that match any style.
Finally, we recommend the use of plants in our home offices. In addition to providing the green touch that fills us with vitality and freshness, there are some types – such as cacti and ivy – that are very effective against radiation and electromagnetic waves. We hope that today’s post was very useful to you and that you can put it into practice, until next week!
