A redesign of an existing house in Tibidabo with an intervention on the ground floor measuring 200 m2. In this historic 1920s house, the materials, colors, lighting, flooring, textiles, and decorative accessories were all redesigned and replaced.
The architectural details of the original home were carefully preserved. The ground floor was a huge undivided space that lacked personality. Therefore, in order to achieve maximum warmth, it had to be drastically changed. The structural and visual power of the two large archways was reinforced, which helped divide the space and frame the large, pristine windows.
The space was completely redesigned, imbuing it with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Large wooden slats were installed as flooring throughout the rooms in order to create greater visual amplitude. The dominant colors are those in the brown family, but with notes of red and garnet.
The décor proposed for this floor was completely current, with antique touches and contemporary artwork. The ornamental elements play an important role in the overall design, with various pieces strategically placed throughout the house.
