RECTOR UBACH HOUSE

An renovation of aesthetics

An interior design and décor project in a house located in the upper area of Barcelona. The owners wanted to reconfigure the space and replace the furniture.

We took advantage of the natural light coming in from the windows, achieving the most efficient maximization of sunlight throughout the home. A masculine and understated style was created with the use of darker tones. Wood was chosen as the main material and so is featured in each area of the house.

The optimization of the space and the creation of storage spaces were essential. To that end, a customized shelving unit was made to cover one entire wall. A partition was created to separate the living room, dining room, and kitchen areas, while at the same time unifying all three.

In the master suite, the headboard was covered with the owners’ preferred color, adding a personalized touch to the design. The bathroom was designed to contrast with the bedroom, offsetting the areas and creating a balance between them. Carefully chosen lighting was combined with fine wood in various hues.
