This apartment in this center of Barcelona, which measures 300m2, underwent a comprehensive interior design and décor renovation, where the space was opened up and illuminated.
The owners wanted to optimize the existing space and reconfigure it in order to create homogeneity and fluidity. The house consists of two hexagons connected at right angles, with a large outdoor terrace. Because of these odd dimensions, the reconfiguration of the space proved to be most complex.
The various natural woods, along with hydraulic tiles and the restored original elements, add an eclectic and modern touch to the house. The living room is characterized by the marble detailing and complements the golden finishes that continue into the dining area.
The kitchen is an important area of the house and has doors out to the spectacular terrace. This terrace includes an annex closed off by glass walls, which serves as a winter eating area. The kitchen is open to the dining room and is separated from the living room by refurbished wooden cabinetry that is complete with original screen prints.
