Loft Poblenou.
Spaciousness is not created only through square metres.
It is also created through light, materiality and freedom of use.
In this loft in Poblenou, the project begins with the intention of reinforcing what already belonged to the space: its industrial character, exposed materials and an architecture capable of adapting to different ways of living.
The intervention does not hide imperfections.
It embraces them.
Exposed installations, natural textures and the original kitchen are preserved as part of the loft’s identity. From this foundation, the new design introduces contemporary pieces that accompany the space without erasing its memory.
The main area is organised as an open sequence.
Each corner takes on its own purpose without the need for physical divisions. Furniture, rugs and the placement of each piece help structure the space naturally, creating distinct areas within a shared atmosphere.
The home is also conceived as a place for gathering.
A space capable of hosting everyday life while opening itself to art, exhibitions and new forms of connection between those who live there and those who visit.
The colour palette becomes the common thread.
Reds, greens, beiges and earthy tones run throughout the home, creating a dialogue with reclaimed furniture and selected industrial pieces. The result is an interior with character, where old and new coexist through the same intention.
Nothing feels forced.
Everything seems to belong.
A contemporary loft that remains true to its industrial origins and understands the home as more than a domestic space.
