An interior design and décor project in the Pedralbes district. This project was completed in a luxury penthouse measuring 300 m2 and included the unification of two apartments on the same floor, with an interior patio as an open space in the center of the new house.
Incredible results were achieved by joining rooms, eliminating corridors, and using the newly created spaces as play areas and common areas. With unification of the two apartments, it was possible to invite more light into the space. The project was completed with a homogeneous décor solution that restored the architectural elements of the original property.
Large windows were installed to separate the kitchen from the dining room and were carefully designed to reference different architectural elements of the period during which the building was constructed. Many structural elements of the space were restored, such as the cornices on the ceilings, the dividing doors, and the wall panels, all made out of white stone.
The owners opted for the use of natural materials in all rooms of the house. In addition to recovering some furniture, careful consideration was given to the colors, textiles, details, and small accessories used throughout the home.
