A single-family house in the upper area of Barcelona measuring 700 m2, with a 200 square-meter garden. A thorough interior design and décor project was completed, improving the existing poor layout in order to allow for the greatest amount of natural light.
Better access to the first floor was created, taking advantage of the space and providing a more convenient staircase. This renovation called for several extensive changes, including the flooring throughout the house, the wall colors, and the technical and decorative lighting.
The client’s requirements were to maximize the natural light, create visual interplay between the interior and the exterior, and achieve a balanced and harmonious atmosphere. The interior was designed with the same lines and tones as the exterior, with the exception of the sitting area, which was designed as a cooler environment to contrast with the rest of the home.
The bathrooms were designed and made from natural materials and wood veneers, with sinks in natural stone and fine woods. The custom-made kitchen was separated from the dining room by a semi-open partition, which can also be closed completely.
