PASEO DE GRACIA HOUSE
A house with Wabi Sabi style
Who says the Wabi Sabi is cold and impersonal? The Paseo de Gracia project does not seek to be the “perfect definition of a Wabi Sabi house” but it is an example of how cozy and warm spaces can be created from this style, as has been achieved in this apartment with 230 m2 of floor and 280 m2 of terrace.
The “Wabi Sabi” concept tries to find the beauty of the imperfection caused by the passage of time. It was the basis for this project, where the owner was looking for a timeless space, in which the materials evolved naturally over time, in which to feel at peace and avoid the feeling of perfection and coldness.
Through noble materials with neutral and calm tones such as microcement, iron and wood, we create a dialogue between the different spaces. Neutral materials play with points of color that become the protagonists of each room, providing personality.
