The house needed air. The project began by opening up.
This 100 m² apartment recovers the charm of another era through a contemporary perspective.
Before, long corridors and fragmented rooms. Now, connected spaces, soft transitions, and natural light entering from the south and north façades, accompanying the home throughout the day.
The heart lies in the semi-open kitchen. It integrates with the corridor and connects to the living-dining area, shortening circulation paths and transforming a rigid layout into a fluid and functional home.
Materiality brings order. Lime stucco and lightly stained oak wood run throughout the home: from the entrance cabinet to the kitchen and the bedroom headboard. Two materials, one shared atmosphere.
Organic shapes soften each space. Greens and terracottas add freshness. Linen textiles and raffia-covered walls reinforce calm and continuity.
Nothing here is excess.
Everything is balance.
A home that honors its history while being lived with the naturalness of the present.
