POBLENOU LOFT
A loft with a modern and contemporary air
Luminosity and spaciousness were the main requirements of the decoration remodel in this loft in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona.
The main objective of the owners was to enhance the architecture of the space by emphasizing its original industrial style with new contemporary pieces. They wanted to maintain some original elements of the loft such as the visible building installations, the natural materials, and the imperfections. Additionally, they wanted the space to serve as both a home and an art gallery.
In the main space, each corner is separated to serve a single purpose. The placement of various pieces of furniture, along with the strategic use of throw rugs, allowed us to create this type of division in a natural and visually appealing way. The original industrial style kitchen was preserved, incorporating it into the new design and integrating it with the chromatic schema of the rest of the loft.
Throughout the entire house, the chosen colors follow a common thread. The red and green tones, along with other more neutral colors such as beige and earth tones, enhanced the look of the selected industrial and reclaimed furniture.
