LES CORTS LOFT

The conversion of a small apartment

A comprehensive reconfiguration and décor project for a loft in a 15-year-old building. In this 50 m2 apartment in Les Corts, the spaces were reconfigured and a thorough décor project was completed.

The original apartment, which is located on the ground floor, did not have a lofted area, nor did it have much natural light. There was also a poorly designed spiral staircase that was nearly unusable. To improve the light in the space, we used warm and indirect lighting. We worked with natural woods and neutral colors, careful to ensure that everything had a masculine touch. The loft was built in iron and wood, and it was painted white in order to further enhance the natural light.

A vinyl parquet was installed on the loft floor to absorb water and noise such as that of footsteps. The open kitchen was integrated into the living room, along with a storage area. All the furniture was custom-made in order to fit the space perfectly. In addition, a projector and a double-sided viewing screen were installed.

The flooring on the ground floor was made in soft microcement, which created amplitude. Finally, a complete home automation system was installed.
