KATARINA GREY ATELIER
A romantic space where design meets fashion

KATARINA GREY ATELIER

A romantic space where design meets fashion

This new atelier for the renowned fashion designer Katarina Gray was designed from a large space in the upper area Barcelona. The project was inspired by the fashion designer’s trademark style, which is wistful, warm and bohemian.

The space revolves around a central axis where the dressing room and a large partition are located. This partition was designed exclusively for this space; it is made of wood and iron, and includes a mirror. A gallery of photos from the designer’s collections and fashion shows is displayed on the front wall.

The atelier’s color palette ranges from shades of gray and rose to watery greens. Complementary materials were used throughout the space, such as brass, aged wood, linen curtains, wallpaper, velvet sofas, iron and marble structures, throw rugs, and a swing chair made of rattan.

The combination of materials creates both a welcoming and intimate atmosphere, and plays with the perfect balance of light.
