This house, which measures 1000 m2 and is located in Supermaresme on the Costa Brava, underwent an interior design and décor remodel, complete with new styling.
The main requirement of its owners was to create and open floor plan that would showcase the natural light. Therefore, we aimed to create a relaxed and breezy style to match the natural setting. The use of neutral colors and a soft chromatic color scheme imbue the space with tranquility.
The day area is one open space incorporating four separate areas that are distinguished from each other. This area includes: the living room, a small reading corner next to the fireplace, the dining room, and the kitchen. All of them are visually connected and play off one another, which ensures that there are no visible obstructions. This area has views of both the porch and the rest of the yard, which is surrounded by nature.
For the exterior two functional areas were created. In one area, we find the outdoor dining room that can accommodate a large number of guests thanks to the workbench that was constructed. The back wall was opened to allow for more natural light to flow through the space, as well as to provide views of the house. In the second area, we find a rest area with lightweight furniture and a palette of colors that mirrors the interior.
