This house, which is located in La Bonanova, Barcelona and consists of three floors, underwent an interior design and décor renovation.
One of the owners’ wishes was to have a luminous and airy open floor plan. In order to do this, we created storage spaces as a practical way to keep unnecessary things hidden. As a result the kitchen, living room, and dining room were unified on the main floor, providing the opportunity for an outside space and an area for relaxation. The fireplace was redesigned, and a reading nook was created where the books also function as decorative elements.
On the second floor, there is a guest room and a children’s room, which are now fully open but can be divided in the future. On the top floor is the master suite with its own terrace. Natural materials such as wood and organic fabrics were used throughout the house, and greenery was used to as a unifying theme. The resulting style is timeless.
Neutral finishes and clean lines allow for the design details to be appreciated. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast area that consists of and an island and matching stools that complement the rest of the space. In the bathrooms, the same chromatic scheme was used as in the rest of the house, resulting in a tranquil atmosphere.
