Work enters the home.
And the space learns to lower the noise.
For this edition, Meritxell Ribé and Josep Puigdomènech imagined a workspace within the home. A place designed for remote work, where luxury and calm go hand in hand.
The intention was clear: to create a harmonious, functional, and quiet environment. Together with Gira, the space is automated to adapt to use and mood through light and atmosphere.
Wood builds a continuous “skin” of organic shapes that envelops the space. Between solids and voids, hidden cabinets and functional solutions appear, fully integrated into the design.
Behind the custom desk, a panel conceals shelving and introduces an unexpected gesture. The panels, almost sculptural, replicate the curves of the ceiling at a smaller scale and are strategically lit, adding visual texture and depth.
On the floor, a wool carpet laid over foam rises to the skirting, reinforcing the acoustic and enveloping sensation.
Here, the workspace does not invade the home.
It integrates into it through calm, technology, and materiality.
