A reform of interior design of a duplex located in the upper area of Barcelona. In this incredible house in the Bonanova, it were obtained totally open and open spaces.
In the kitchen area, sliding doors were incorporated that allow the passage of light and do not impede the visibility of the space. We sought to use different materials in the pavement, which separated the different environments without losing visual communication.
The main material used in almost all the housing is natural wood, using it in different versions and tonalities. The touch of color is incorporated into the bathrooms, creating living and fun private areas. Indirect lighting is incorporated, which makes the stay more cozy and intimate.
The night area is separated by the flying staircase that communicates with the first floor. Made with a very minimalist design, it takes part of the prominence due to its organic shape. In this way, it is perfectly included in the room and allows fluid dialogue between both floors.
