We finished the month of April with a lot of rain and with a new post in The Room Papers. This week we wanted to focus on storage in bathrooms and how we can create spaces to place the products we use daily, always in a practical and functional way.

There are several ways to create areas to place towels or any type of packaging. The most common way to do it is by incorporating a piece of furniture that includes the hand sink. This allows us to place large amount of utensils knowing the dimensions of the sink. If we do not like them to be seen, it will be the perfect option to not have them visible. This type of pieces can be up to the ground or they can be suspended, so we can make an internal distribution of it adjusting it to our needs.

Following the same line, we find other alternatives that include one or several shelves under the sink. On them we can place wicker baskets or with a different design and textures. All the products that we place must be organized and ordered, as they will be visible and will not look beautiful.

|One of our favorite choices is the combination of the previous two. We place the furniture under the sink and, on the one hand, we use the concept of open space and, on the other, we place a closed cabinet combined with different drawers. In this way, we can create a very functional space that breathes at the same time. For the introduction of shelves, in The Room Studio we opted for different types of wood treated so that they do not deteriorate in the bathroom.

If we have a narrow area that has no specific use, we can create recessed storage space. In this way, we will make the most of each corner as it is a very effective solution. It is also very useful in the shower to place the shampoo and gel so that they do not show.||Other simpler ideas are to place suspended cabinets or shelves on the toilet or in an unoccupied space in the bathroom. We can choose a narrow cabinet where you can place creams or simple and not very heavy colonies. In addition, we can incorporate hangers or small organizers that we can place on the wall. These are very useful designs to store the toothbrush or facial hygiene products.
