City of South Miami permitting, the historic character of the area and tree protection are handled by the same people who design the house, and built by The Room Work, our own construction arm. In renovation, where the surprises are behind the walls, that continuity is what stops a discovery from becoming a delay.

Design that respects the bungalow and the canopy

The mature canopy is the most valuable thing on most of these plots and the easiest to lose. We design the extension, the pool and the parking around the trees, so the house gains space and the street keeps its shade.
