This week we want to make reference to the forms, the materials, the dimensions and their uses. We want to give a change to those elements that we incorporate in our homes in a simple way to show you other ways to do it. For this post we wanted to refer to the bathroom sink, they are one of the basic pieces of the bathroom. Therefore, we want to give them prominence by teaching you the different ways by which we can find it.

The sink is a set that we use daily. At the time of your choice, we must consider our routine and the way to carry it out. With this we want to make reference to if we need this element to be higher, wider, double, more curved, etc. This piece must fit our needs and comforts to facilitate its use.

As we have said, there are many types of pikes: on countertop, recessed, under counter, integral, suspended … as well as a breast, two or displaced breast. For your choice you should prioritize the practicality and functionality, as well as the importance that bathroom takes in the home.

If it is a guest toilet, we will choose a sink with depth so there is no splash. It will be a bathroom that will be used mainly to wash hands and teeth. In this case, we will opt for a sink on a countertop of one breast and that occupies a space proportional to the area.

But if it is the main bathroom of a couple, we can choose a double sinks and integrated sink. We will give more importance to the total width than to the depth, since for the routine it is more comfortable. It will also help us to place personal items such as: creams, toothbrushes and other items. If on the opposite we live alone but we have many cosmetic products, it would be advisable to choose a displaced breast with storage space.

Regarding the choice of material, you must follow the same line as in the rest of the house. If we have based on natural materials providing warmth to the house, we can choose the stone in neutral tones. In addition, it is a durable, resistant and easy to clean product. If we look for practicality and that is not damaged, we have the option of ceramic, porcelain or acrylic resin, being the most common. We can also use glass and combine it with any other type of material and color.
