The good weather is coming, now we can enjoy the sun and the good temperatures. People who have terraces and roofs can share the moments of meeting in good company and in the open air. We choose to use these spaces to create functional dining rooms where you can enjoy a magnificent gastronomic evening.

We always design based on the needs of people who will use the area. We find different structures that will help us to protect us from the different climatic factors: sun, rain, wind… and that allow us to enjoy the outdoor dining room at any time. Metal structures with folding canvas or other materials, glass doors that make a winter dining room, arches and ceilings giving a Provencal effect and are some of the different options that we can use.

For the design of the dining room, we prefer to continue the same aesthetic that has been used in the rest of the house, creating a homogeneous and continuous area. Light colors on the walls to give more amplitude and wooden pallets will be the best options to transmit that fresh and natural air with calm. Incorporating these materials it will be easier for us to combine other elements, achieving an impeccable design without losing functionality.

Regarding furniture, we opt to use of simple elements that don´t require a lot of maintenance and have a high durability. The table will be the protagonist of the dining room and the whole scene will be developed around it. If we have enough space, we recommend the incorporation of extendable tables since we will gain in capacity. We will choose models of chairs with a clean line where we choose natural materials and the use of white, this color won´t give as heat. Depending on the space available, we can replace the use of chairs by a bench. The most required materials for this type of furniture are different types of wood, wicker, rattan, wrought iron, resins, lacquered aluminum or other materials that look like the previous ones and whose maintenance is periodic and allow an elegant design.

Once the basic elements are chosen, we will get personality including different complements. A floor lighting, carpets and cushions with different colors and modern prints, pots with striking plants, linen textiles, vases and candles, among others, that complete the space making it unique. These small pieces we can change for others that will give a different air to the dining room.
