Do you want to know some deco trends?

25.09.2018

We are back with a lot of energy after the summer! We wanted to make a small compilation of the latest trends in decoration. We could define them as easy trends to include in our homes, concepts that can be adapted to any type of style.

To start with this post, we will talk about “everything in sight“. What does this mean? This idea refers to putting our personal items or favorite pieces on shelves. It is not necessary that everything should be perfectly stored or in order. With this idea, we refer to being able to create visual frames using our things. We can use this trend throughout the house: in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. It is a perfect way to create a home, bringing personal touches and character.

The lightings have a very important role in decoration. In addition to functionality, lamps can provide much more. Currently, we have many types of styles with different shapes and materials. In The Room Studio, we vote to risk when choosing them: we must include them as one more piece that should be highlighted and should add value to the home.

Open spaces are fashionable. This concept has been in trend for many years when designing spaces. The diaphanous housing is the most required, the most quantity of light is sought and it connects with the exterior. For this, large windows with metal finishes and a certain industrial style are included. Translucent sections are added in areas where privacy and privacy are sought. In addition, we can use this trend to create skylights where you can obtain points of natural light inside the house.

Last, and not least, we will refer to the complements. The most trendy accessories are those with metallic and striking finishes. Geometric shapes are booming, can be used in carpets, vases, frames, bedding and mirrors, and others. In addition, many old elements that are incorporated into the house are combined with more contemporary ones. We can provide creativity, using reclaimed doors as a dining table, for example. These elements use natural materials that we can combine with different patterns and textures. The plants are the perfect choice to include the fresh touch to our homes, along with cushions and other more daring textiles.

In conclusion, these are trends that we love and try to include in our projects. It is very easy to put them into practice and, therefore, we leave you some ideas to inspire you. We hope you try!
