Dekton by Cosentino at TRS
This week we will talk about another of our collaborations in this edition of Casa Decor. For our project of the hotel suite room ‘Lost in Translation’ we have trusted the Grupo Cosentino. This firm is a global company and leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design.
Specifically, the piece that we have placed in the desk area is Dekton®, a product of Cosentino. It is a totally revolutionary surface whose properties and novelties we tell you below.
This is an innovative category of surface: the ultra-compact, low-maintenance, long-lasting surface. It is a sophisticated blend of raw materials used to make glass, state-of-the-art porcelain and quartz surfaces. It is manufactured with the exclusive Particle Sintering Technology (TSP), developed exclusively by Cosentino’s R&D department, which comprises an innovative ultracompaction process.
It has superior technical properties such as high resistance to ultraviolet rays, scratches, stains, and thermal shock, and has a very low water absorption. Just as you can recreate any type of materials with a high degree of quality.
It is manufactured in large format boards (320 cm x 144 cm) and in five thicknesses (0.4 cm, 0.8 cm, 1.2 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm). It can be applied in a wide range of applications, both indoors and outdoors (facades, pavements, coatings, countertops, sinks, furniture, etc.).
It has a range of colors made up of more than 70 references. Specifically on the color applied to the ‘Lost in Translation’ desk in the Gira space, Entzo belongs to the Natural Collection of the ultra-compact Dekton® surface, a collection that reflects Cosentino’s feeling to emulate the best of nature. It is the evocation of stones with veins or a homogeneous structure, always with great delicacy in design.
Inspired by natural stone, the Entzo color offers a hue that brings great light and spaciousness to the space. An elegant and random gray and gold streak draws asymmetrical movements on a radiant white base. Its smooth matte texture and its careful and refined graphics make Entzo a simple and subtle color.
In accordance with the most sustainable edition of Casa Decor, the firm advocates the environment and a circular economy model, various shades of Dekton® are manufactured with losses in the production process, reusing and taking on a new life.
We want to thank the entire Cosentino team for their support and love shown during the process. We hope to see you soon in our Casa Decor hotel room and continue collaborating on future projects. We hope you liked this post and have a great week!
