Children’s room made to measure

16.10.2018

Today it’s the turn again to the smallest of the house. For the post of this week, we are going to talk about custom-made children’s rooms. Sometimes we find that there is not enough space to place different elements so, at The Room Studio, we chose to make all the necessary elements made to measure.

To begin designing these rooms, it is necessary to consider the needs of children. They grow up very fast, each time they will need more space, and this area must adapt to them. These rooms include the bed, storage and study areas, as a homogeneous unit that, at the same time, separates each area very well from the others. Everything is integrated perfectly with a very precise continuity.

We chose to use more neutral and peaceful tones for the design of the rooms, this will allow us not to determine the continuity for a particular color. As always we recommend, the best option will be to include colors and prints through the complements. These accessories can be changed more frequently and easily than furniture. If we want to add funny touches, we can include wallpaper with different geometric shapes or suspended elements.

With these spaces designed exclusively for them, we will ensure that they do not miss any essential requirement and that each square meter is used to the maximum. Each incorporated element is studied to the millimeter, and extra zones can be included for a specific use.

Finally, we leave you some photographs of different projects where the rooms of the children have been made to measure. Each one presents a more personal style with the same neutral common base. Hope you liked it!
