Fall color notes

08.10.2020

For this week’s post and with the arrival of our beloved autumn, we have brought you this post to tell you about our perfect color palette for this time of year. Autumn is the season where the cold begins to arrive little by little and nature begins to take the earthly colors as the main protagonists.

The time has come to think about the warmth of our homes and give them the point of comfort to enjoy them. The most realistic and functional option to make the change of season is combining and adapting these new shades in complements and accessories. From bedding, cushions, plaids, crockery or small decorative elements…, they will give us the final touch to see our houses prepared for this new season.

For autumn, the use of more earthly, neutral and calm colors will always be ideal. In addition, a small tip that always works, we can orient ourselves based on the color range of seasonal products, that is, fruits and vegetables. For this reason, we can decide that in our choice we will use ocher, brown, orange, beige, tile and even yellow tones. Our combination will be mostly eclectic, where we can make many different variations without losing the connecting thread.

It is preferable to use nature as a creative part on a blank canvas to introduce at home. Some ideas could be to decorate centerpieces with pinecones, leaves or wood, which provide a rustic and homey touch. A space where cool colors combine with natural elements, textures with volume and personality and selective warm lighting, will allow us to obtain dreamy and extra warm places. With small notes throughout our homes we can give that autumn stamp: plaids on armchairs, ceramic dishes with golden touches, denser upholstery and textiles, dried flowers and corners with ambient lighting.

With all these ideas, you are ready to get your houses ready for the following months. Now take a book, a blanket, and enjoy the tranquility of your homes and the rainy days that we like so much. Happy week Roomers!
