Before and after: Rambla Catalonia Penthouse
An integral project of interior design, decoration and execution of 300 m2 in which wider, luminous and open spaces were obtained.
In this central area of Barcelona, the owners wanted to optimize the existing space and obtain a better distribution of the house to create homogeneous and fluid areas. The penthouse consists of two hexagons that are connected at right angles and a large outdoor terrace, making the distribution project the most complex part.
The different natural woods with hydraulic pavements and the recovery of original elements, add an eclectic and contemporary touch to the house. The hall is characterized by marbles and complements creating a perfect dialogue that plays with the dining room.
The kitchen is an important area of the house and one of the accesses to the spectacular terrace. It was located in the annex totally closed but with transparency that gives way to the winter dining room. The kitchen is open to the dining area and is separated from the living room by means of some recovered showcases made of wood and silk-screened glass.
