For the second consecutive year, The Room Studio has the privilege of being part of Barcelona Design Week by participating in the exhibition ‘Geister und Götter’ by the artist Max Gärtner in collaboration with the Victor Lope Arte Contemporáneo Gallery. Under the slogan <<Design for activism>>, this new edition is presented as a double call to mobilization. On the one hand, to the mobilization of the sector and the activism of professionals and companies to develop a design capable of providing solutions and generating equality, balance and trust. On the other hand, a call for the mobilization of citizens and economic agents to contribute to the recovery of the creative fabric, offering confidence, hiring and consuming local products and talent.

On November 24, we will have the doors of our Gallery Store Espai Paris open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for all those who want to come and visit Gärtner’s new series. Access to our venue will be completely free and, in order to respect all security measures, it is important that you register in advance in a link that we will share with you later in order to visit the exhibition.

For all those who do not know it, the BDW was created in 2006 by Barcelona center de Disseny and is considered one of the most important Design Weeks on the international calendar where design, creativity and innovation in Barcelona take place. BDW is also a member of the World Design Weeks Network organization, which integrates the main international events in the field of design. For this 15th edition of the BDW, which will be held from November 17 to 26, it is directed by Barcelona center de Disseny, organized by the BCD itself and FAD Foment de les Arts i el Disseny, in collaboration with the Museu del Disseny, promoted by the Barcelona City Council, and with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Barcelona Design Week aims to bring design closer to citizens and mobilize the sector to share the vitality of Barcelona’s design with the world, highlighting its social and economic importance and inviting the various audiences of this event to experience it. An extensive program has been made available to lovers of the discipline that has more than 100 activities open in the city, also aimed at the professional and business public.
