In this week’s post at The Room Papers, we wanted to talk about one of our brands for excellence and we have the great pleasure of acting as distributors in Barcelona. Artisan is an artisan factory that emerged from a carpentry shop that was entirely dedicated to wood. With more than 50 years of experience in the processing of the material and specialized in manual production, is dedicated to the creation of high quality solid wood furniture.

Realizing a distinguished and great manual and artisanal work, they developed their first experiences and creations based on the creation of furniture for Dutch and British designers. In 2007, they decided to embark on the creation of their own collections in collaboration with distinguished designers from the world of design. Among some of these well-known personalities, we can find names like Michael Schneider, Karim Rashid, Regular Company, Gabriella Bellon, Fahmida Lam, among others. Its main objective is based on the reaffirmation of its philosophy, which guides each collection and piece of wood with the personal vision of each designer including the touch of the team of craftsmen.

From The Room Studio, both in our Espai Paris and Espai Travessera, you will find a selection of these handcrafted and special pieces on display. We love to include the natural touch in our projects through Artisan. The touch of the wood allows us to feel the work carried out by its team of professionals, done with care and delicacy. We emphasize its organic and refined lines, allowing to obtain ergonomic and design elements for the comfort and comfort of the users.
