Before and after: Sa Tuna House

22.09.2020

Welcome Roomers one more week to enjoy a new post in The Room Papers where we bring you the before and after project of ‘Casa Sa Tuna‘. In this 200 m2 house on the Costa Brava distributed over two floors and located in the Sa Tuna cove, a comprehensive redistribution of the interior of the house has been carried out, which was completed with the total Decoration and Styling project.

For this second residence located in a privileged location, the main premise of the clients was the relocation of the interior spaces and the opening of spaces and quality of light. For this, it was decided to work with curved lines and organic shapes that provide greater amplitude to the narrower areas and avoid the harshness of their shapes. The range of materials was minimized by resorting to the same range of coatings and a single flooring throughout the house. In the water areas, other materials were used, accentuating their personality.

For the Decoration project, all the rooms were worked individually so that each one had its own identity but, at the same time, the harmony of the set was sought where the seal of its owners is transferred. It was decided to provide the house with the Mediterranean air it contains, providing chromatic accents and different textures, obtaining a natural and relaxed sophistication.
